Shallow channels on the underside help prevent unwanted suction — especially helpful for wine glasses in use on flat surfaces.

** Notes on Microwave Use

Glitter versions of the Closer Coaster contain tiny metallic flakes embedded within the silicone. While they’re fully encapsulated and safe in most situations, metallic glitter can sometimes react in microwave ovens. For this reason, we recommend avoiding microwave use with glitter models — or, if necessary, testing briefly on low power and discontinuing use if any sparking or discoloration occurs.

(Mica-powder and matte colored versions are fully microwave safe.)
