Our Process

Each Closer Coaster is handmade with care in the United States. Because of the process and materials, no two are exactly alike — and we think that’s part of the magic! ✨

You may notice subtle differences in your coaster, such as:

• Color shade – some tones may be slightly lighter or darker
• Surface texture – tiny bubbles or markings may occur
• Shape details – each coaster flexes uniquely, but always functions the same

These variations don’t affect performance — your coaster will still grip glasses, cans, and bottles just as intended.

Color Variations

When you order a set of Closer Coasters, we’ll make sure all coasters of the same color in that order are consistent in shade. However, if you place another order later for what’s listed as the same color, you may notice small differences in tone, shade, or lightness/darkness. Each batch is handmade, so colors can vary.

The upside? These variations can make it even easier to tell drinks apart — like wine charms, your coasters’ subtle differences can help mark whose glass is whose.

If you ever build yourself a set of similarly colored (but not identical) coasters and would prefer a perfectly matching set, email us at hello@closercoaster.com. As long as your coasters are in their original condition, we’ll do our best to arrange a replacement so you can enjoy that chef’s kiss match.
